For
70 years EATON (formerly Hayward) has been the industry leader in providing 3/8" to 60" diameter pipeline strainers for the Process and Manufacturing Industries.
Simplex Basket Strainer
Simplex strainers are used to protect valuable or sensitive equipment in systems that can be shut down temporarily for strainer basket cleaning or change out. More than one million EATON Simplex Pipeline Strainers have been installed in manufacturing processes around the world.
Duplex Basket Strainer
The EATON Duplex (or double basket) strainer can operate continuously and never has to be shut down for cleaning. It has two separate strainer basket chambers that operate independently. When one basket chamber becomes full, the flow is switched to the other allowing the first basket to be pulled out and cleaned.
Y-Strainer
EATON Y strainers are installed in pipelines to remove unwanted solids from liquid, gas or steam lines by means of a perforated or wire mesh straining element. They are a cost effective solution to protecting pumps, meters, control valves, steam traps, regulators and other process equipment.
Automatic Self-Cleaning Strainer
The EATON automatic self-cleaning strainer is motorized for the continuous removal of entrained solids from liquids in pipeline systems.
Fabricated Strainer
Because fabricated
strainers are manufactured one at a time, they can be made to fit the
exact
requirements of your application. Whatever your special need—space
limitations,
unique piping connection, a special alloy or cover opening system or
size—EATON
can create the perfect strainer for you.
Strainer Baskets, Screens & Elements
The
basket or screen is the heart of an EATON strainer and is designed to be
both
effective and durable. EATON offers standard and heavy duty versions of
baskets
(for basket strainers) and screens (for Y strainers) in either
316 stainless steel or Monel with a wide range of performations and mesh
providing removal of solids from 1/2-inch down to 40 microns.
